Frank A. Lattal

Frank A. Lattal is a leading professional in property and casualty insurance and commercial dispute resolution. His 35-plus year career includes 14 years of private legal practice followed by 21 years as a senior corporate property and casualty insurance executive.

Frank practiced law at Connell Foley & Geiser, LLP from 1984 to 1998 where he was a partner in the litigation practice. Frank joined the ACE Group (now Chubb Group) in 1998 as Senior Vice President for Claims in Bermuda. Most recently, Mr. Lattal served for 15 years as the Global Chief Claims Officer for Chubb Group, the world’s largest publicly traded Property and Casualty Insurance Company. In that role, Mr. Lattal was the chief executive officer for a claim organization of 6,000 professionals operating in 54 countries that paid more than $16 billion annually in claims adjudication and was responsible for all aspects of claims management, service, and administration for Chubb worldwide. In addition, for 16 years he had executive responsibility for oversight of Chubb’s property and casualty runoff operations, including direct and assumed claims, reinsurance collections, and commutations. He led the 18-month integration of 2 global claims organizations into one after the ACE Group acquired Chubb. Prior to acting as Chief Claim Officer, he was Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the company’s Bermuda-based insurance companies, ACE Bermuda and ACE Tempest Re.

Mr. Lattal left Chubb in 2019. In 2020, he established a private consulting and ADR practice and is now acting as an independent arbitrator, mediator, and neutral focused on international, insurance, and complex commercial disputes. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, and is certified as an arbitrator by ARIAS and FINRA.

Mr. Lattal is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

George J. Kenny

George J. Kenny, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, has tried hundreds of diverse civil cases and has briefed and argued more than 70 New Jersey Appellate Division and Supreme Court cases. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Mr. Kenny has served on the 15-member ABA’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary (the committee that investigates and evaluates the qualifications of all federal judicial nominees), on the ABA Litigation Section’s Council, as a Division Director, as Chair of its Professional Liability Litigation committee, and was the founding Chair of its Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee.  He has served three terms as trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as president of the Essex County Bar Association and as chair and member of numerous New Jersey Supreme Court committees.

Mr. Kenny has lectured and published extensively on procedure and substance in various fields of law, and served for 27 years on the Adjunct Faculty of Rutgers University School of Law. He has also been a member of the New Jersey Law Journal’s Editorial Board for more than 30 years. He is a partner in the firm of Connell Foley LLP.

Mr. Kenny was named insurance law "Lawyer of the Year" (Newark) in the 2022 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
